Dan Davidi

Dan Davidi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of OHR. They previously served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Aleph from 2023 to 2025 and as a Research Scientist at Amazon from 2022 to 2023, where they led a confidential sustainability initiative and built a lab to translate Synthetic Biology R&D to production at scale. At Harvard Medical School, they were Project Manager for EMBR in 2021 and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Lab of Genetics, where they developed a platform for variant-to-phenotype mapping of the mitochondrial genome and were awarded three fellowships. They founded Kavra, an ornamental fish farm, developed proprietary technology for fish reproduction, exported to the European market, and collaborated with NAAMAT to train youth at risk to operate ecological and economic systems in aquaculture. They hold a PhD in Environmental Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science (2013–2018), an MS in Biotechnology and Microbiology from Tel Aviv University (2010–2013), and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Biology from Tel Aviv University (2007–2010).
