Sam Hendel is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional with extensive experience in founding and managing various companies. Currently serving as the Founder and Chairman of JKBX since January 2022, Sam has also co-founded DataMinr in April 2009, a leader in real-time information discovery and AI solutions. Other notable positions include Co-Founder and Board Member at Chord Music Partners and Investor at Kobalt Music. Sam holds leadership roles as Chairman of the Board at both Okayplayer and OkayAfrica, and serves as a Senior Advisor at Kepos Capital, L.P. Previously, Sam was President and Portfolio Manager at Easterly Investment Partners and held portfolio management responsibilities at Satellite Asset Management. Sam began a career in finance at UBS as an Associate Director and graduated with a BA in Economics from Yale University in 2003.
