Anders Aarnes

Anders Aarnes is a seasoned drilling supervisor with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving at OKEA ASA since February 2024. Previous roles include positions at Repsol and Vår Energi, where significant responsibilities encompassed subsea template drilling and completion on the Balder Future field. Aarnes has also worked with ConocoPhillips and Spirit Energy in diverse environments such as the Barents Sea and North Sea. Prior to these roles, Aarnes held significant planning and supervisory positions with Edison and DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG, and demonstrated leadership as a Lead Drilling Supervisor at Statoil. Aarnes obtained a Master's degree in Petroleum Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1978 and 1982.
