Anders Knape

Anders Knape is a senior operation geologist at OKEA AS since January 2019, specializing in well site geology work for exploration wells both offshore and onshore throughout the planning and reporting phases. Prior to this role, Anders had extensive experience as a consultant geologist for Aker Solutions, contributing to planning, drilling, and reporting phases of exploration and production wells in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Experience also includes serving as a wellsite geologist for Marathon Oil Corporation and Talisman Energy, where participation in projects such as the Alvheim and Volund fields occurred. Earlier roles at Statoil and Norsk Hydro ASA involved wellsite geology and reservoir geology, covering significant fields and developing digital geo models. Anders Knape holds a Master of Science degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Gothenburg.
