Daniel Meyer has over 15 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry. Daniel has held various roles including Principal Well Engineer at OKEA ASA, Senior Drilling Engineer at Ridge AS and THREE60 Energy Group, Well Engineering Manager at Vår Energi, Senior Drilling Engineer at AkerBP, Snr. Drilling Eng. at Lundin Norway AS, Snr. drilling engineer (consultant) at Maersk Oil Norway, consultant drilling engineer at BP, Engineering Manager and Senior Drilling Engineer at AGR, and Drilling Supervisor at Dubai Petroleum. Throughout their career, Daniel has gained experience in well construction, slot recovery planning, high-pressure high-temperature exploration wells, and reservoir drilling.

Daniel Meyer earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben. Daniel also obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Petroleum Engineering from the same institution. In addition, they hold a verified certificate in Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage from edX, which they obtained in September 2021.
