Mark Wells

Mark Wells is a seasoned diplomat and current Director of Global Trade and Investment at the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Previously, they served as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of State, where they formulated regional policies for South America, Haiti, and the Caribbean. Mark has held significant roles, including Deputy Chief of Mission at U.S. Embassies in both Peru and Colombia, and played a crucial part in restoring U.S.-Cuba diplomatic relations. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Oral Roberts University, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from The George Washington University, among other qualifications.
