Jacob DeWitte is the CEO and Co-Founder of Oklo, a company that specializes in advanced nuclear power. Jacob has a long history of working with nuclear technology, dating back to their time as a PhD candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT, they developed tools to analyze adoption scenarios of high performance light water reactor fuels as part of long term capital asset management planning for nuclear power plants. Jacob also performed core design and analysis for various plutonium destruction scenarios using the PRISM reactor.
In addition to their work at MIT, DeWitte has also interned at both General Electric and Sandia National Laboratories. Jacob has TA'd for three different courses on nuclear technology sponsored by MIT and INPO, and they are a well-respected authority in the field of nuclear power.
Jacob DeWitte received their PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Jacob also received an SM in Nuclear Engineering from MIT and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida.
