Fara Ashiru

Fara Ashiru is the Founder & CEO of Okra since January 2020, focusing on Open Finance as a service to democratize financial services through technology. Prior to founding Okra, Fara has held various engineering roles at companies such as Canva, Pexels, Sana Benefits, TecHustle, Inc., Dorsata, Shixels Studios Ltd., Digital Additive, OrgSpan, Inc., and GottaPark. At Shixels Studios Ltd., Fara managed a team of 20 to deliver external client projects and internal company products for well-known companies. Fara holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
