Chitrak O.

Chitrak O. is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Customer Identity at Okta since July 2025. Previously, Chitrak held the position of Director of Engineering at Twilio Inc. from August 2019 to July 2025, contributing to Twilio Flex. Chitrak also served as a mentor at Plato from January 2020 to January 2024 and as Senior Engineering Manager for Leanplum’s Marketing Orchestration Platform from June 2018 to August 2019, where responsibility included managing a cross-functional team to facilitate the sending of over 1 billion messages per day. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Reflektion, where Chitrak led teams in building a personalized behavioral marketing system, and Engineering Manager focused on data needs. As a founding engineer and tech lead, Chitrak contributed to critical backend infrastructure for Realtime Web Serving. Chitrak holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Certificate in Business Administration and Management from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
