Dan Post is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in access management, device security, and product development across several technology firms. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Okta, Dan oversees the Device Security & Risk Products team, focusing on enhancing IT and Security integrations within the Workforce Identity Cloud. Prior to Okta, Dan held multiple engineering leadership roles at Motiv Inc and Square, where significant contributions included the launch of innovative products such as a smart ring and the development of the Square Reader and other payment solutions. Experience also includes tenures at Apple and Intel, where Dan was instrumental in improving the performance of storage systems and developing firmware for cutting-edge SSDs. Dan's career began with early roles in systems engineering internships, laying a solid foundation for a successful career in software and firmware engineering.
