David Gennarelli

David Gennarelli is the current Vice President of Investor Relations at Okta. David has over 20 years of experience in the field, having served as the Head of Investor Relations at Autodesk from February 2008 to April 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Investor Relations at Symantec from May 2004 to January 2008, and at NetScreen Technologies from December 2001 to April 2004. David has also held positions at CyberSource Corporation and AxyS Pharmaceuticals.

David has been recognized multiple times by Institutional Investor as one of the top IROs in software. David is a skilled communicator and has extensive experience working with senior management on all shareholder relation areas ranging from earnings messaging, development of analyst day content, roadshow coordination, proxy outreach, and regular investor calls/meetings.

During their time at Autodesk, David developed a communications plan for business model transition to subscription/cloud and managed relationships with 23 sell-side analysts. David also participated in the Advanced Leadership Program.

David Gennarelli holds a BS in Management/Marketing from Binghamton University.
