Jesse Bains

Jesse Bains is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and risk management, currently serving as the Manager of Customer Assurance for the Americas at Okta since August 2025. Prior to this role, Jesse held the position of Senior Director of Cyber Security at Tilray Brands, Inc. from November 2021 to September 2025. Jesse's extensive background includes serving as Director of Cyber Security & Technology Risk and Senior Manager of Security Operations at Loblaw Companies Limited from March 2011 to December 2021, as well as a Managing Consultant at IBM for a brief period in 2011. Earlier career experience includes roles as Security Lead at Pepsico International from December 2007 to October 2010 and various positions at Deloitte from 2005 to December 2007. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in Computer Engineering from Western University, completed between 1998 and 2003.
