Joe Castro

Joe Castro serves as the Vice President of Professional Services at Okta, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this role, Joe co-founded and served as Board President at Merivis, an organization focused on supporting veterans and military spouses in transitioning to careers in Salesforce cloud technology from July 2015 to July 2021. Joe's previous experience includes positions as Chief Technology Officer at Appirio, where responsibilities involved guiding consultants and clients through technological advancements impacting Salesforce implementations from November 2014 to January 2021, and as Vice President and Chief Architect at Accenture. Joe's extensive background in technology roles includes significant tenures as a Principal Salesforce Architect, Enterprise Architect, Business Architect & Product Manager, and Technical Architect at Dell, as well as earlier roles at The University of Texas at Austin and The Hartford. Joe holds an MBA in Information Management from Texas McCombs School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Rice University.
