Tim de Groot

Tim de Groot is a Principal Project Manager at Okta since May 2022. Previously, Tim served as a Program Manager at Vision-Box, where responsibilities included managing the Automated Border Control program for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and consulting on business solutions for the border control and travel industry. Tim also worked as a Project Manager for biometric-enabled digital identity solutions for various clients, including major airports and Holland Casino. Prior experience includes a Project Manager role at Unisys focusing on Identity & Access Management and biometrics, along with a Bid Manager position overseeing proposal deliveries. Tim began a career as a Project Engineer at Cargobox and held a Graduate Assistantship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where Tim contributed to the Urban Nebula project. Tim holds a Master's degree in Economic History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
