Tim Peel

Tim Peel is the Director of Threat Analysis & Research at Okta, overseeing Cyber Threat Intelligence, Identity Threat Research, and Adversarial Engineering & Operations teams since September 2020. Prior to this role, Tim held several positions at Aegis 9, including Cyber Intelligence Consultant for the Australian Department of Defense, and gained significant experience at Symantec as a Senior Principal Cyber Threat Intelligence Researcher. Tim also served as Senior Manager for Cyber Intelligence at Commonwealth Bank, where responsibilities included mentoring analysts and producing strategic intelligence products. Earlier in the career, Tim worked for the Australian Federal Government as a Senior Cyber Intrusions Analyst, among other roles. Tim holds a Diploma in Information Technology (Network Engineering) from the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board.
