Michael Tjia

Michael Tjia is an experienced engineering director currently at OKX since April 2022. Prior to this role, Tjia held various positions including director at UBS from July 2017 to April 2022, and senior software developer at both HSBC Global Banking and Markets and Goldman Sachs. Tjia began a career in finance and technology as an assistant vice president at Deutsche Bank from November 2009 to April 2015. Academically, Tjia has a strong background with a Graduate-Level Quantitative Finance Program from Stanford University, an MSc in Economics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a B.Eng in Computer Engineering with first-class honors from The University of Hong Kong.
