Pinar Basar

Pinar Basar is currently the Localization & Experience Team Lead at OKX since October 2022, where responsibilities include managing a team of language specialists, establishing QA metrics, and conducting user feedback initiatives. Pinar has built a team of over thirty freelance linguists focused on the Web3 sector and has implemented various localization workflows. In addition to this role, Pinar serves as the Turkey Linguist Manager and Co-Founder at SatoLOC, while also working as a freelance book translator for Nova Kitap. Previous positions include Senior Linguist at Bybit, freelance translator for wikiHow, English Language Teacher at İstek 1915 Çanakkale Schools, and freelance Turkish translator at multiple organizations. Pinar holds a Bachelor's Degree in American Culture and Literature from Istanbul University and a High School Degree from Private ENKA High School.
