Richard Barnes

Richard Barnes is an experienced communications and public relations professional with a strong background in the gaming and tech industries. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & PR for EMEA at OKX, a leading global crypto exchange, Richard previously established the International Communications department at Unity. Prior to that, Richard was the Director of International Communications at Rockstar Games for over 15 years, directing PR strategies for major game launches, including the Grand Theft Auto series. Earlier career experience includes a role as Marketing & A&R Manager at Universal Music Group. Richard holds a BA Hons in Music Industry Management & Marketing from Buckinghamshire New University and a Higher National Diploma in Music Industry Management from The Manchester College.
