Soumya Murthy

Soumya Murthy is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Head of Indirect Tax at Ola since January 2022. Prior to this role, Soumya held positions at Pricewaterhouse & Co LLP, advancing from Assistant Manager to Manager in the Indirect Tax division from September 2016 to January 2022. Soumya's career began with roles as an Article Assistant at SARJBA and Co, and Raghavendra Naik & Associates, followed by a Senior Audit Associate position at Madhava Murthy and Co. Soumya holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Karnataka State Law University, a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from Bangalore University, and completed pre-university education at Christ University, Bangalore, alongside high school at Sudarshan Vidya Mandir.
