Christopher Stewart

Christopher Stewart is a seasoned professional in sustainability and corporate responsibility, currently serving as SVP, Global Head of Sustainability Impact at ofi since January 2020. With extensive experience at Olam since February 2013, Christopher has held various roles including Global Head of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, and Head of Environment and Sustainability in Gabon, where leadership focused on environmental policy and sustainable agricultural practices. Prior involvement includes serving on the Management Committee at the High Conservation Value Resource Network from 2013 to 2020, and as Associate Director at ProForest from 2006 to 2013, contributing to global sustainability standards. Christopher’s career began in crop development management in the biopharma sector and environmental technology, underscored by academic credentials including a PhD in Tropical Forest Ecology from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Zoology from the University of Oxford.
