Derek West

Derek West is an experienced Grower Relations Manager currently at Olam since October 2020, where responsibilities include identifying new almond growers and strengthening existing partnerships, serving as the primary contact for grower support. Prior to Olam, Derek managed grower relations at Hughson Nut Inc from May 2015 to October 2020. Earlier experience includes a sales role at PureSense from January 2013 to January 2015 and serving as a Licensed Insurance Agent at GARY MCKEIGHAN INSURANCE AGENCY, INC from January 2007 to January 2013. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Management from California State University, Fresno, completed in June 2007.
