Samir Kumar

Samir Kumar has over 15 years of experience in sales and management across various sectors. Samir served as Sales Manager at Olam International from July 2014 to June 2015, focusing on the sales of Cashew Kernels in Europe, and later worked as Branch Manager, Cashews, gaining extensive knowledge of the Cashew Supply Chain in West Africa. Prior experience includes three years as Area Business Manager at Solvay Pharmaceuticals from July 2005 to July 2008, where a strong sales foundation was established. Currently, Samir is the General Manager at Olam, overseeing Food Ingredients operations in Vietnam since March 2022, with leadership over Pistachios and Walnuts operations and the Private Label business since April 2023. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Hindu College, University of Delhi, and an MBA in Marketing & Economics from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
