Sharad Gupta

Sharad Gupta is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Olam International Limited since January 2012, Sharad Gupta spearheads the company's global entry into the Animal Feed & Protein sector while managing overall business strategies in emerging markets. Previously, as Business Head for Grains at Olam, Sharad Gupta established a significant presence in the wheat flour market in Ghana, overseeing a business projected to exceed $100 million in P&L responsibilities. Prior to Olam, Sharad Gupta held various leadership positions at Cadbury plc., where accomplishments included tripling turnover for international business and enhancing outsourcing strategies, as well as achieving cost reductions through export-based operations in Sri Lanka. Sharad Gupta's career began at Unilever, where significant contributions were made in manufacturing and supply chain optimization. Educational qualifications include a Sloan Fellowship in Strategy & Leadership from London Business School and a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
