Shawvik Das currently serves as the General Manager of Plant Operation at Olam since January 2024, overseeing the largest Biscuit and Wafer plant. Previously, Shawvik held the position of Head of Operations Projects and Supply Chain at Happilo from April 2022 to December 2023. Shawvik's extensive experience includes roles as Head of Supply Chain and Projects at OAM Industries (India) Private Limited from January 2020 to March 2022, DGM - Projects and Head of Manufacturing and Projects at RP-SG FMCG (Guiltfree Industries Limited) from May 2017 to January 2020, and Deputy General Manager at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. from November 2015 to May 2017. Earlier in the career, Shawvik served as Regional Operation Manager East for ITC from May 2006 to November 2015 and as Assistant Manager Production at PepsiCo from November 2004 to May 2006. Shawvik holds an M Tech in Post Harvest Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a B Tech in Agricultural Engineering from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
