Stan Lapidus

Stan Lapidus has more than three decades of experience as a life-science entrepreneur and leader of pioneering diagnostic companies. Stan founded and led Cytyc Inc. where his ThinPrep (restricted sign) Pap test technology revolutionized the early detection of cervical cancer. He also founded and led companies EXACT Sciences and Helicos Biosciences, and holds academic appointments at Tufts and MIT. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Binx Health, Glympse Bio, PathAI, Fractyl Laboratories and T2 Biosystems and is an advisor for Lucid Diagnostics. He is also a chairman for Mirvie and is an elected fellow of the American Institute of Medial and Biological Engineering.
