David Maslen

David Maslen has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the accounting and finance industry. David is currently the Head of Tax at Old Mill, where they have been since February 2021. Prior to Old Mill, they worked as a Partner at the same company starting in April 2004. Before that, they served as a Manager at Baker Tilly from September 1999 to April 2004. David also gained experience as a Business Analyst at Makinson Cowell from 1996 to 1998, and as an Internal Auditor at Credit Suisse from 1994 to 1996. David's early career included a role as an Audit Senior at Deloitte UK from 1991 to 1994.

David Maslen attended The Broxbourne School from 1981 to 1988, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. David then went on to pursue higher education at the University of Cambridge from 1988 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Natural Science. In terms of certifications, David obtained the Chartered Accountant designation from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES in October 1994. David also acquired the Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) certification from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in August 2018.
