Robert Markes

Robert Markes has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being the Director of Business Transformation & ERP at Oldcastle Infrastructure. In this position, they led a project team and was responsible for the design, delivery, and budget of SAP S/4 HANA across the entire enterprise. Robert successfully built an SAP global template covering all business processes for the company, resulting in a streamlined and efficient solution. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Senior Commercial Operations Manager at Oldcastle Infrastructure, where they led a national S&OP team and was responsible for production planning and inside sales/lead generation. Robert also managed all national assets, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment for customers. Before joining Oldcastle Infrastructure, Robert held various roles at Cox Communications, where they focused on planning, implementation, and inventory management. Robert played a key role in designing and delivering a comprehensive S&OP process for Cox consumer premises equipment and was responsible for managing capital spend and inventory levels. Additionally, Robert has experience in inventory management and replenishment strategies from their time at The Home Depot. Robert managed teams and projects related to inventory replenishment, capital allocation, and order management systems. Lastly, Robert has military experience as a Logistics Officer in the US Army, where they successfully coordinated and supervised the delivery of supplies worth millions of dollars. Robert was recognized for their exceptional planning and implementation skills with a Bronze Star award.

Robert Markes attended the University of Mississippi's College of Management from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
