James Pedley

James Pedley 裴湛思 is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Chief Legal Officer at Olea since January 2022, where the focus is on empowering sustainable trade through a digitised trade finance platform. In addition, James has been an Executive Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Structured Finance Association since December 2018. Previous roles include Partner at Simmons & Simmons from May 2020 to December 2021, and Foreign Legal Consultant and Lawyer at Clifford Chance from March 2007 to April 2020. James began their career as a Trainee at asb law from February 2005 to February 2007. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Durham University and a legal practice course (LPC) from Nottingham Law School.
