Berno Hunsche

Berno Hunsche is an experienced project manager specializing in light source development and technology evaluation with a strong background in the automotive and OLED display industries. Currently serving as a Project Manager at OLEDWorks since April 2021, Berno focuses on developing novel light sources for rear light applications. Prior to this role, Berno managed projects at APEVA SE, overseeing the development of manufacturing equipment and conducting technology transfer initiatives. Berno's extensive experience at Philips Lighting involved managing technology development projects related to OLEDs for automotive applications, leading projects aimed at cost reduction, and overseeing the development of optical coatings. Berno's career began as a Research Scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute, specializing in thin film technologies. Berno holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Technische Universität Braunschweig and a Master's degree in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
