Ted Ricks

Ted Ricks currently serves as the Director of Research and Development for Displays at OLEDWorks since September 2024. Previously, Ted held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Six15 Technologies from June 2012 to September 2024, overseeing the technology and product roadmap for industrial and defense AV/VR hardware, while managing engineering staff and intellectual property. Ted's experience extends to roles such as Technical Product Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Six15 Technologies, and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Vuzix from August 2009 to June 2012. Earlier career positions include Product Development Manager at Harbec Plastics, Product Development Engineer at Eastman Kodak Co, and Project Engineer at Integrated Technologies, Inc. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, earned from 1993 to 1997.
