Tony Bitonti has over 30 years of work experience in media relations and news production. Tony started their career as an intern at the Office of Sheila Copps - former MP in 1988 and worked there until 1990. Tony then worked as a news anchor at MCTV News Sault Ste Marie from 1991 to 1997. After that, they joined CTV Newsnet as a news producer from 1997 to 2003. Tony then moved on to CTV Barrie as a news producer from 2003 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they served as the senior producer of news at CP24. Finally, they joined OLG in 2010 and held the position of senior manager of media relations until 2019 when they were promoted to the director of media relations, which they currently hold.
Tony Bitonti earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Carleton University from 1986 to 1990. Tony then attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Radio and Television.
