Michael Alff

Michael Alff has over 15 years of work experience in various roles in the energy and manufacturing industries. Michael is currently working as the Business Development Director at OLI Systems, Inc. Prior to that, Michael worked at Schlumberger for 15 years where they held several positions including Sales Account Manager, Completions Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, and Connectivity Manager. Michael also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Alabama and as a Team Leader at the Alabama Institute for Manufacturing Excellence. Additionally, they have experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at Active Power.

Michael Alff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, which they obtained from 1999 to 2004. Michael then pursued a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, from 2006 to 2007, they obtained a second Masters degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from The University of Alabama.

Michael Alff also has several certifications. In December 2010, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Schlumberger. In August 2010, they completed the Certificate of Completion in Technical Project Management from the American Management Association. Furthermore, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2009.
