Deon Carter

Deon Carter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience across several high-level positions in major corporations. Currently serving as President and Corporate Vice President of the CAPV Division at Olin since June 2024, Deon has previously held roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Continental Industries Group, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer at Scientific Design Company, Inc. from April 2020 to April 2023. Prior to that, Deon was a Senior Vice President at BASF, overseeing the Performance Chemicals and Precious Metals Services divisions, and held the position of VP for Oil Refinery Catalysts at Engelhard from 1990 to 2006. Deon's early career included a role as Plant Manager at Engelhard Italiana S.p.A. between 2000 and 2002. Educational credentials include a degree from the University of Cape Town, completed between 1986 and 1989.
