Holger Baer

Holger Baer is an experienced executive in the chemical manufacturing sector, currently serving as Vice President of Manufacturing & Engineering Chemicals and Corporate EH&S, as well as General Manager for EMEAI at Olin since October 2015. Baer's extensive background includes a role as Vice President of Olin International and General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, along with the position of Global Business Manufacturing Director for Olin Epoxy, overseeing 15 production units across nine countries. Prior to Olin, Baer held various leadership roles at Dow Chemical from September 1998 to October 2015, including Global Business Manufacturing and Technology Director for both Dow Epoxy and Propylene Oxide and Propylene Glycols. Baer's educational foundation includes a Master of Applied Sciences in Engineering Chemistry from Naturwiss.-techn. Akademie Isny, as well as an Abitur in Natural Sciences from Rupert-Ness-Gymnasium Wangen im Allgaeu, Germany.
