Patrick Smith has extensive experience in chemical engineering, currently serving as an Optimization Leader for both Epoxy Intermediates and Allyl Chloride at Olin since May 2019. In this role, Patrick leads initiatives for a safe and environmentally responsible workplace, oversees expense and capital projects from budgeting to execution, and manages all components of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements. Previously, Patrick was a Unit Leader, mentoring engineers and technical staff in allyl chloride production, and worked as a Production Engineer managing day-to-day operations. Prior experience includes a Chemical Engineering Co-Op at Tronox and a Sales Representative position at Campus Book Mart. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, completed in May 2019.
