Tom Schneider

Tom Schneider is an experienced professional in process safety and engineering, currently serving as the Global Process Safety Director at Olin since September 2025. Previously, Tom held various roles at LyondellBasell from October 1999 to August 2025, including Global Process Safety Manager and Technical Manager, with a focus on process and production engineering, control systems, quality, and lab safety. Prior to that, Tom worked at IMC Global as a Project Manager, overseeing large capital projects, such as the brownfield installation of a new nitric acid plant. Tom Schneider holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
