Caprice Young

Caprice Young, Ed.D., is a seasoned education leader currently serving as CEO and Superintendent of Navigator Schools since July 2023, where efforts focus on closing the achievement gap in California’s North Central Coast. Young has extensive experience on various boards, including Olivela and EverDriven, where significant contributions as ESG Committee Chair occurred from July 2021 until February 2024. Previously, Young held the position of President at Education Growth Group, LLC from September 2010 to July 2023, leading strategic planning for educational organizations and serving in interim executive roles. Other notable roles include National Superintendent for Lifelong Learning, CEO and Superintendent of Magnolia Educational and Research Foundation, and Vice President for Education at Arnold Ventures. Young earned a BA from Yale University, an Ed.D. from UCLA, and an MPA from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.
