Director of Product

Peter Stearns has a diverse and extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry. Most recently, they are the Director of Product at OLLY PBC since March 2022. Prior to this, Peter was a Member & Founder of ATG Ventures, LLC, a food & beverage business accelerator, starting in November 2014. Peter also served as a Senior Food Scientist & Commercialization Manager at Mattson & Co., a leading product development firm, from October 2010 to December 2014. Peter held the position of Senior Product Development Manager at New World Pasta, a division of Ebro Puleva, from February 2010 to October 2010. Peter gained experience as a Product Development & Operations Manager at Native American Natural Foods from July 2008 to January 2010. Before that, they worked as a Product Development Manager at Annie's Inc. from September 2002 to December 2006. Peter's earlier roles include Product Development & Assistant Plant Manager at New Life Bakery from September 2001 to September 2002, and Quality Assurance Tech & Research Assistant at Balance Bar Company from June 2000 to August 2001.

Peter Stearns completed their education history with a Master Brewers Program at the University of California, Davis in 2016. Before that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive MBA at Golden Gate University from 2009 to 2012. In 2009, they also obtained a Cereal and Grains Technology Certification from South Dakota State University. Peter'sundergraduate education was completed at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they earned a B.S. in Food Science & Nutrition from 1994 to 1999.
