Martin W.

Martin W. has over 10 years of work experience in supply chain management and related fields. Martin began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at the Kenya Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives. In 2012, they joined Land O'Lakes, Inc. as a Market Linkage Associate. In 2015, they became an Assistant Warehouse Manager and Inventory Manager at Twiga Foods. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at IvishaBiz Africa as a Supply Chain Optimization, Post Harvest Management, Agro-Processing, Startups & SMEs. During this time, they were responsible for optimizing fresh produce and FMCG supply chains in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi. In 2019, they joined GSK as a Supply Chain Associate, where they established successful distribution networks in south rift, Kenya and directed operations, human resources, accounting and budgeting. Currently, they are employed as a Supply Chain Manager at OLVEA.

Martin W. received a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) from Egerton University in 2011, majoring in Agtech. Martin then attended CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Master of CIPS (MCIPS) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Martin is currently enrolled in Kenyatta University, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is expected to graduate in 2021.
