Alan Dekker is currently a HBO-verpleegkundige at OLVG, where they have been since 2025, following three years as a verpleegkundige at the same organization. Prior to their nursing career, Alan worked as a planoloog and sustainability advisor for the Municipality of Amsterdam from 2019 to 2022. Alan has also gained experience in business psychology, having worked with LTP Business Psychologen from 2016 to 2019. They hold a Geriatric Nursing degree from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, an MSc in Spatial Planning from Universiteit Utrecht, and a Bachelor’s in Urban Planning from Universiteit van Amsterdam.
