Bernadette Elders

Bernadette Elders has a robust background in pediatric medicine, having served as a PhD Student in Pediatric Pulmonology at Erasmus MC-Sophia from September 2017 to December 2021. Currently, Bernadette works as an AIOS in Pediatrics at OLVG since January 2023 and previously held a similar role at Amsterdam UMC from December 2021 to March 2023. Additional experiences include roles as a clinical intern at Groote Schuur Hospital and Kanti Children Hospital, a research student in pediatric cardiology at Leiden University Medical Center as well as cardiac imaging at The Hospital for Sick Children. Bernadette's earlier positions include working as a spreekuurbegeleidster at Rijnland Ziekenhuis and serving as a PR Officer for the Leiden International Medical Student Conference. Bernadette's educational credentials include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine from Universiteit Leiden, along with a foundation year in Law and Business Administration and a 6 VWO diploma in Nature and Health from Atheneum College Hageveld.
