Nik Makan has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager for OLX's European Advertising Team since June 2015. Prior to this role, Nik was a Senior Backend Engineer and a Backend Engineer, also within the European Advertising Team, and previously worked as a Full Stack Developer for the Sub-Saharan African Core Product Development Team. Earlier career experiences include a Software Engineer position at Ease Media from September 2011 to June 2015 and a Software Engineer role at Cellular Control Systems from March 2008 to September 2011. Nik Makan holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cape Town, earned between January 2007 and January 2010.
