Ruben Teixeira is an experienced engineering leader, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at OLX since June 2021, managing the App Platform team and the Nexus Design System. Prior to this role, Ruben held positions at TopCompare.be, including Tech Lead and Lead Software Engineer, where responsibilities included driving technical vision and overseeing platform development. Additional experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at AFFINITY Portugal, developing web-based solutions, and a full-stack Software Engineer position at Future Healthcare Group, focusing on billing and claims management systems. Ruben began his career as a Support Specialist at NOS SGPS and holds an Engineer's degree from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering.
