David Smit

David Smit is an experienced biology educator with a diverse background in teaching and volunteering. Currently serving as a Docent Biologie at Olympus College since September 2021, David teaches students in grades 1 to 4 across various educational levels from vmbo-t to vwo. Previous roles include teaching biology at Stedelijke Scholengemeenschap Nijmegen and completing a biology LIO internship at Olympus College. David has also worked as a nutritional assistant at Sint Maartenskliniek and engaged in community development through a volunteering project in South Africa. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Pedagogy from HAN University of Applied Sciences, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education and a Havo diploma.
