Paul Spada

Principal Software Engineer at Olympus

Paul Spada has extensive work experience in software engineering. Paul started their career in 1989 as a Senior Software Engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, where they specialized in software design and development for Submarine Communication Systems. In 1999, they joined Olympus IMS as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for implementing new software options and features for existing instruments. Paul also managed the release process of new software and upgrades, interfaced with the QA team for testing and release, and developed PC-based software using C#. Recently, they held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Olympus IMS.

Paul Spada earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 1985. Paul then pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they completed in 1990.
