Capt. Waheed A.

Capt. Waheed A. is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Captain of the Airbus A330 at Oman Air since April 2010, Capt. Waheed also holds the position of Senior Manager Safety & Emergency Response Planning, where responsibilities include corporate safety, risk management, and business continuity planning. Prior to Oman Air, Capt. Waheed worked at Gulf Air from January 1993 to March 2010, where roles included Captain of the A330 and A320, Senior First Officer, Flight Safety Officer, and flight instruction. Capt. Waheed holds a Master of Science in Disaster Management from Bournemouth University and a Master of Aviation Management from Griffith University, as well as an Associate Degree in Medical Equipment from the College of Health Sciences in Bahrain.
