Donna Smith

Donna Smith is an experienced professional in the field of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK), currently serving as the Director of DMPK at OMass Therapeutics since April 2023. Previously, Donna held the position of Senior Manager and Pharmacology Scientist at GW Pharmaceuticals plc from May 2020 to April 2023. Prior to that role, Donna worked at Aptuit as a Research Leader in Discovery Translational PK and as a DMPK Senior Scientist from June 2016 to June 2018. At the University of Cambridge, Donna was the Head of the PK/Bioanalytics Core Facility from April 2009 to May 2016, where policies and procedures were established to ensure compliance with clinical laboratory guidelines. Donna began her career as a Senior Research Associate at Astex Therapeutics, focusing on preclinical and clinical DMPK activities from October 2003 to April 2009, and was a Senior Scientist at GSK from 1999 to 2003. Donna holds an MSc in Biopharmacy from the University of London, obtained between 1994 and 1996.
