Reda A. has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology and protein production. From 2006 to 2011, Reda A. worked as a PhD Fellow at Université Paris-Sud, focusing on membrane protein production and the challenges associated with it. This involved using cell-free expression systems with detergents or liposomes, as well as promoting the formation of inclusion bodies in E. Reda A. also completed a Master internship during this time, where they gained experience in construct design and protein production using various molecular biological techniques.
In 2012, Reda A. joined Institut Pasteur as a Research Scientist. In this role, they studied the molecular mechanisms of function and pharmacology of human glutamate transporter. Reda A. developed a fast and cost-effective cloning protocol and set up small-scale and liter-scale transient transfection systems for overexpression of the human transporters. They successfully screened and obtained biochemically well-behaved and functional transporters, and contributed to solving the first high-resolution structures of these proteins.
In 2018, Reda A. joined OMass Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist. Unfortunately, no specific details about this role are provided.
Reda A. earned a Master 2 Sciences, technology and health degree in Cell signaling and physiology from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2004 and 2006.
