Prior to this role, Melissa worked at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from 2007 to 2020, progressing from Executive Administrative Assistant to Manager of Donor Data Services, managing a six-person team responsible for data in Raiser's Edge. Additional experience includes consulting roles for nonprofit organizations and a foundational background in administrative and development support at various institutions. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from The University of Georgia.
