The Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO) was established as a welfare organisation in 2003 before it was registered as a Trust in 2009. 

OYO has the mission to create awareness of social issues among the youth of Namibia using visual and performance art. 

An initial focus on HIV/AIDS expanded over the years to include other social matters relevant to the youth of Namibia such as teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, alcoholism and rape.

OYO has a vision to develop the society of Namibia to one in which members of the youth have broad access to information and develop their creative skills for them to make informed decisions.
